Projects Office have completed an ambitious new office space for a fast-growing food technology start-up.

With the preparation of great food at the heart of their business, the brief included a restaurant grade commercial kitchen and dining space for the whole team, as well as working space and breakout areas for engineering and sales teams.

Placing food at the very centre of the workplace, our ambitious interior scheme creates a comfortable domestic inspired environment for hard working sales, operations and software development teams. The whole company eat together every lunchtime around a large communal table formed of shifting planes of terrazzo that create convivial corners to enable conversation without a hint of formality. Dramatic floor to ceiling shelving allows the raw ingredients to be stored front of house, while the open kitchen ensures the skilled work of the in-house chefs is there for all to see. 

Drawing together our experience in creating hospitality interiors with recent workspace developments, we’ve designed an ergonomic work environment that celebrates the company’s belief in quality ingredients, excellent cooking and sociable dining. With the open kitchen and shared dining table central to the scheme, this office interior encourages discussion and collaboration over the enjoyment of great food.
